Nicola Pero guides engagement and social impact nationally for Iberdrola Australia and is a Board Director with the Australian business. She lives and works regionally and has sat on numerous regional Boards and committees and across multiple sectors.  Nicola has held roles across the farming sector in food and fibre development, regional visitor economy, regional education accessibility, and now in the renewable energy transition. Deeply wedded to collaboration and building healthy ecosystems, Nicola sees opportunities for jobs, skills and training and addressing participation challenges for vulnerable groups within regional Australia. Whilst noting disruption and change impact to regional communities is real and must be acknowledged, she offers we must also consider the massive opportunity for investment in regional and rural communities and multi-generational legacy that can be achieved.
