Liza Balmain and her husband David, along with their 2 young children, run a family farming enterprise at Cecil Plains, on the Darling Downs.  David is a fourth-generation farmer and their property Glendon has been in the family for over 100 years.  They grow cotton, mixed grains and pulses, both irrigated and dryland across 1000 hectares.  They strive to farm sustainably and are always looking for ways to improve efficiencies.  Liza & David completed a farm energy audit through the Energy Savers Plus Program a few years ago and Liza is here today to share their experience and the outcomes of the audit.
