Bruce is an Executive Director at the Department of Transport and planning.  His division facilitates the environmental assessment and planning services for state significant projects delivered across the public and private sectors.  In recent years, the division has carried the statutory planning agenda for key government project delivery, notably Victoria’s Transport Big Build, Housing Statement and Energy Transition.  Central to this has been his remit to:

• negotiate the removal of barriers and resolve complex planning issues;
• generate time savings and risk reduction for significant project delivery; and
• provide timely and pragmatic planning advice to the Minister for Planning.

Prior to his time in the Victorian public service, Bruce held executive roles consulting in the water and environment sector both here and overseas.
