Ian Brimblecombe is a cotton farmer in the St George area of southern Queensland. Ian has been growing cotton for more than 30 years and has developed a keen interest in renewable energy, in particular solar PV. To reduce the spiralling energy costs incurred with irrigating, he has installed over 500 kW of PV on his property over the last 14 years, and looks forward to the day when the opportunities offered by solar power to the regions of Australia will be fully realised.
