Libby is an intergenerational farmer, originally from the Bathurst region and later in the Lake Cargelligo area, where the Skipworth family are 5th-generation farmers.
Libby is a multi-disciplinarian, or a “jack of all trades”, with a background in accounting, agricultural commerce, and sociology. Libby approaches problems with a broad perspective and questions, rather than with a predetermined outcome in mind, often generating a “no-one has ever asked that before” response.
Libby is working with a team of local, including 2021 Young Farmer of the Year and Summit Ag principal Emma Ayliffe, Acquatice Ecologies Dr Adam Kerezsy, and Mr Libby (Peter) to leverage the opportunities from our long term relationship with Graphite Energy, an a energy storage technology innovator in developing a renewables precinct that supports regenerative farming practices, leans to circular practice, and develops regional capacity, in the regions.
